Over the past three years, we have visited and presented to over 100 elementary schools, middles schools, high schools, colleges, libraries, non-profits, and community organizations. Whether doing an assembly for 500 K-5th graders or doing small workshops with college students, we love sharing our work and getting people of all ages excited about the Rad Women books. We’re both experienced educators who are happy and comfortable with all ages—we know how to keep kindergarteners and teenagers engaged and entertained (not sure which is harder!).
We are currently booking school and library visits, and are available for smaller in-class readings and discussions as well as larger assemblies and art demos. We’re based in the Bay Area, but if you’re outside of the area and want to bring us in, let’s talk! Skype visits are available as well.

“Kate was such an inspirational speaker. She skillfully explained complex topics, breaking them down into bite size and age appropriate pieces that the children could easily digest and explore. I was overwhelmingly impressed by her ability to answer questions in a way that didn’t shy away from difficult topics…She was engaging, funny and very thoughtful… She captured the attention of both a group of 5-11 year olds and their parents, not a small feat.”
