It was my pleasure to work with Kate Schatz and Miriam Klein Stahl, when they visited our district’s middle schools in support of their book. They are both dynamic and exciting as speakers and I highly recommend them for school programs and assemblies.

K-12
We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and regularly visit local schools to present and share our books. Our K-12 presentations are tailored to fit the grade level and needs of the school community. Our presentations generally last for about an hour, with a 40 minute talk and reading, and a 20 minute Q+A (usually shorter for the K-2nd grade set). If both Kate and Miriam present, Miriam can demonstrate her papercut techniques. If just Kate comes, the focus is on reading and storytelling.
The structure of the visits depends on the needs/size of the school, as well as the budget. We can do one big assembly, several smaller ones, classroom visits/workshops, etc.
We are committed to providing free school visits to Title 1 public schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you are located outside of the Bay Area and would like to bring us to your school, please get in touch. Skype visits are available!
